Based on the the investigation of the community and combined with the research findings before, some aspects were studied in terms of species composition and floristic characteristics, numerical characteristics, structural features, distribution pattern, interspecific association and species diversity of communities. The results are as follows:(1)There were162species,89families and45genera of vascular plants in the typical evergreen broad-leaved forest community in Wuyi mountains. The floristic characteristics of seed plants in the community had complicated compostion, significant temperate and subtropic transitional character. The floristic analysis of families and genera showed that subtropic characteristics occupied the dominant position, and the temperate characteristics also had a certain proportion. They were all reflected the characteristics of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest and humid monsoon climate.(2)The vertical structure of the typical evergreen broad-leaved forest could be divided into four levels, including tree layer with134species, shrub layer with82species, herb layer with6species and inter layer with13species. The species diversity effects of the tree layer were measured by means of species evenness, species diversity index, species richness. It indicated that the evenness and diversity of typical evergreen broad-leaved forest were higher, different species distributed uniform in the community, the dominant species was not obvious, the number of individuals had a little difference.(3)Studied on the size structure of the community, the size structure of12main species could be divided into inverse-J type species and L type species, the community structure stable and upadate well.The methods such as variance/mean ratio, mean crowding index, patchiness index, negative binomial parameter were used to analyze the distribution patterns. The results indicate that the community had distinct clumped feature.12main species in the communities are all clumped.(4)The2×2contingency table, the analysis of different index including the analysis of variance/mean ratio, χ2-test, interspecific association test, point correlation coefficient, interspecific association index were used to analyze the species association. The result of analysis showed that significantly positive correlation exist among12main species, and the number of positive coupling was more than the negative coupling, most of the interspecific relation had weak coupling and some even had no relationship.(5) The method of Ripley’L statistics in point pattern analysis was employed to study the spatial distribution patterns and interspecific relationships of the plant community and four main populations under different scales. Results showed that: The distribution patterns of the plant community and four main populations presented distinct cluster mode in the main. The plant community was lowed in the congregated intensity than the single population. The four main populations mainly showed negative intra-specific association, which resulted in furious interspecific completion and unstable completion and structure of community.
