In order to select a relatively reasonable grassland using patterns and provide a scientificbasis for a typical prairie family ranch,this study,selected AshiLi Kazakh national townshipof Changji City in the middle section of the northern slope in Tianshan mountains in Xinjiangas the study area,through household surveys and field measurement method,compared thechange of the grassland plant communities soil conditions and livestock production operatingincome and expenditure situation of warm season grazing cool-season feeding andwarm-season grazing cool-season grazing+feeding with traditional free grazing.1. As can be seen by analyzing the status of the three production mode herdsman pastureuse,the grassland community coverage,height,density and above-ground biomass increasedfirstly-and then decreased with the continuation of the grazing time,July reached the highestvalue. Overall,pasture vegetation conditions of the warm season grazing cool-season feedingand warm-season grazing, cold quarter grazing feeding production and management herdsmanis better than the traditional grazing. Long-term grazing is not conducive to the sustainabledevelopment of grassland.2.Different production methods herdsman season grassland soil water content dynamicshowing a decreasing trend after the first increased and reached the highest value in August.The grassland soil bulk density of feeding in the cold season and cool-season grazing andfeeding production is lower than the traditional grazing.In the cold season feeding mode andcold season grazing+feeding mode, the grassland soil total nitrogen,total phosphorus,totalpotassium,hydrolysis nitrogen,available phosphorus,potassium and organic matter contentare higher than that of traditional grazing+feeding mode.3. In2010-2012,the per capita income of modes1and2showing a growth trend,whilethe per capita income of the traditional grazing rendered as gradually decreased.Modes1and2per capita income than the traditional grazing increased by1.59times and1.42times.Therefore,through a reasonable family ranch production and management,to achievea sustainable use and family ranch increase efficiency of grazing system is feasible....
