Sorghum is one of the main grain crops in China, the planting area is mainly distributed in northeast, north China, northwest. Compared with other crops, sorghum has many useful characters, drought resistance、 water logging resistance、 cold resistance、 barren and salt resistance, etc. In terms of the ability of salt tolerance, different cultivar is put in bigger difference, there are large difference between the salt-tolerant ability between different varieties. Many scholars studied on at germination and seedling stage, finding that the salt resistance of sorghum was inconsistent, and the salt resistance at germination stage was better than the salt resistance. In the whole growth period of sorghum, the salt resistance was lowest at seedling stage, but the ability of salt tolerance increased along with the plant growth and development. In this study, salinity tolerance screening of103Sorghum Varieties at germination and seedling stage, the103materials are main sorghum cultivars and breeding materials, what come from the China、 the United States、 India and Australia. The author screened out22salt tolerance varieties in the germination stages and7in seedling stages. Only one varieties reach-up1and2levels of salt tolerance. The salt tolerance in the germination and seedling stages was different.58genetic diversity analysis of SSR primers generated200allelic loci and3.448per locus. The polymorphism information content (PIC) changed in the range of0.337to0.816, with a mean of0.629. UPGMA cluster analysis showed that28of sorghum varieties of salt resistance of genetic distance was0.060to0.505, with a mean of0.378, the genetic distance was small and the genetic relationship was closed. Believe that the salt tolerance identification is to expanding the scope of the material selection, Screening of different genetic basis of salt tolerance of materials. The second is the germination and seedling stages with salt stress treatment at the same time or uninterrupted salt stress in the germination and seedling stages, Fully reflecting the salt tolerance of sorghum varieties.
