The stem nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) disease was the most important disease during sweetpotato production in Daxing District of Beijing, which caused not only yield losses but also qualitydecline of sweet potato. People normally applied chemical pesticides to control this nematode disease, however, pesticide residues within sweet potato enhanced rapidly due to use of single nematicide andhigh-dosage.In this study, the spatial and temporal distributions of Ditylenchus destructor were investigated inorder to evaluate the effects of temperature and humidity on its biological behavior. We developed anintegrated management for control this pathogen by combined resistant varieties application, physicaland chemical control techniques. In order to effectively control the sweet potato stem nematode, reduction in the use of highly toxicpesticides and highly toxic pesticides for protection of sweet potato production safety and foodsafety.During the growth of sweet potato stem nematode monitoring through improved Berman funnelMonitoring: Ditylenchus destructor was distributed between0to60cm soil layers, mainly within the10to30cm. The amount of sweet potato stem nematode decreased dramatically below30cm. Nematodegrowth, on the occurrence of nematodes in time in the region, the temperature is more appropriate forthe Ditylenchus destructor growth, and the amount increased variously in May, June and September. Now on the ridge between the two cavities, the furrow investigation0-20cm nematodes amount, draw two nematodes> cavity nematodes amount> furrow nematode amount, one month after plantingthree kinds of insects than colonization. The survey conducted by insects both visible rise graduallyincrease the nematode amount over time between the two. Screening tests by selecting the local scale ofplanting varieties resistant varieties of sweet potato stem nematode disease morbidity and sweet potatocomprehensive assessment of economic output, screened out of Hearts, dense potato resistance to stemnematode species. By monitoring the seed potato sweet potato stem nematode survival at differenttemperatures on seed emergence and sweet potato stem nematode disease seed at55°C for15minutesto process the best.At ambient temperature to23°C, steam continued to fumigation at40min,10cm under the soilsurface and20cm deep soil temperature up to60.6°C and37.9°C, the corresponding depth tubers ofsweet potato stem nematode mortality rates were was100%,88.1%, soil samples of sweet potato stemnematode mortality were59.6%,60.0%; ambient temperature of7°C, the use the steam fumigation cannot be effectively controlled Ditylenchus destructor.7chemicals with different concentrations of test, the pharmaceutical treatment for of Ditylenchusdestructor lethal fast-acting and sweet potato stem nematode suppression the holding effect as well asthe economic production of sweet potato granules of the whole5%Cadusafos10kg/667m2,10%fosthiazate of2kg/667m2,10%fosthiazate of2.5kg/667m2and15%The avermectin Carbosulfanmicroemulsion900g/667m2four treatment prevention and control is better, sweet potato stem nematode incidence rates less than5%. Processing sweet potato stem nematode Monitoring, the soilsweet potato stem nematode number of sweet potato stem nematode incidence of disease index andeconomic yield of sweet potato was a linear correlation.
