The straw is rich as a crop resource in China. The straws were fewer digested, not agreeable to the taste and rarely utilized if fed directly because of its high contentof cellulose. To take full advantage of straw, preserve its nutrients mostly, reduceenvironmental pollution, raise the feeding value of straw and alleviate thecontradiction between food and feed problem, the equipment of straw pellet feed undervacuum post spraying was designed in this paper. The optimum process parameters ofpellet and post spraying of corn straw pellet feed were obtained with corn straw as theexperiment subject. The specific results are as following:1The equipment of straw pellet feed under vacuum post spraying test wasdesigned and made. It includes vacuum system and transfer system of liquid sprayingand measurement system.2The pellet feed was pressed by using KL40-50feed pellet machine withdifferent moisture content and forage to concentrate ratio and diameter of die nozzleon molding rate. Under this process condition (moisture21%, concentrate ratio30%),the molding rate98.5%, shatter resistant was up to98.64, and packing density was0.50g/ml.3The straw pellet feed liquid addition under vacuum post spraying process wasoptimized through take Box-behnken center combination was design and the solutionof Vitamin C as an example were carried out and the variation coefficients and Vcsurvival rate as test indexes. The test index and the mathematical model betweeninfluence factors were established. The result show that the post uniformity variationcoefficient of value of3.76%is closer to measured values3.65%, and the Vc survivalrate predictive value of92.16%is close to92.79%of the measured values under thisprocess condition (vacuum0.08MPa, fluid additives Vc add volume90mL and themixing time6.2min). This paper based on the effect of vacuum and liquid mixing adding dosage andtemperature on maize grain feed vacuum post spraying, the uniformity of post rate ofstraw pellet feed was measured. Finally the processing parameters for maize strawpellet feed production were obtained. The research will offer theoretical basis andtechnical support for vacuum post technology apply for crops.
