Industrial recirculating aquaculture is an advanced model of a aquaculture thatintegrates with engineering,water-disposal and biology.The main characteristic ofrecirculating aquaculture is high density,non-polluted,resource-conserving and thedevelopmemt trend of aquaculture in the future.The key of industrial recirculatingaquaculture is the system of water treatment,including the filtering and sparationofsuspended solids,the disinfection of water and the control system of other waterquality parameters. Disinfection is the one of the most important technologies in watertreatment. It can keep the water clean by killing harmful microorganisms and saveresources and reduce cost.For disinfection,some drugs are usually used in flesh water aquaculture in ourcountry, such as bleacher,CuSO4,permanganate potassium,and chlorine.But thosedrugs are poisonous after all.If these things are uesd incorrectly or excessively,theremain of the drugs is harmful to fish and people.Therefore,ozone disinfection hasattracted more attention for its safety.Ozone has strong oxidation about600-3000timesas much as chlorine.Ozone is higher efficient,more environmental disinfectant becausethe residual ozone may separate to oxygen soon.Ozone is very unstable and not able to store like other gases.It should be madeduring the process of disinfection and need special equipment to mix in the water.Wechoose bubble column as the dissolving device based on the actual situation. In order toensure the safety of fish in the ozone oxidation of ammonia process, online monitoringsystem of ozone concentration is extremely important. The study designed an online monitoring system of ozone concentration to ensure the ozone oxidation of ammoniatreatment system safe and practical. Confirmed by experimental data using bubblecolumn in ozone oxidation of ammonia is safe and feasible.And ozone production equipment used for ozone production and concentration isan open-loop control.This system can’t control the ozone concentration.When ozoneconcentration is too low it can’t meet the demand for aquaculture disinfection.It notonly caused a great harm to thefish, but also increase the running costs of the equipmentsa long as the ozone concentration is too high.To reduce costs, in addition to the development of high performance of ozonegenerating apparatus, a real-time regulation of the ozone generating device based on theamount of ozone required in very important. In this study, we designed a PLC-basedozone concentration online automatic control system with a configuration monitoringsoftware. The data would be delivered to EXCEL to analysis after the experiment.Theautomatic Data-processing System reduced the error of artificial sampling and improvedthe level of automation and accuracy in the experiment. It provides a reliable technicalsupport in the application of ozone disinfection in industrialized aquaculture.
