Also set pond impoundments breeding control test. Test time from July5,2010to November5,total of5months. Daily record of farming systems, watertemperature, salinity, pH and mortality, molting of captive and pond mud crab; Scyllaserrata need to various growth performance of periodic sampling measurement, such ascarapace width, carapace length, weight, the stomach feeding conditions, vitality andhealth status.The results showed that, impoundments breeding in the individual growth rateslightly higher than the shallow sea captive breeding Scylla. The end of the trial theaverage mass of captive Scylla serrata is275g,individual growth rate of392.9%,molting rate of88%, survival rate of98%; The end of the test impoundment polycultureScylla serrata average mass is300g, individual growth rate of428.6%, molting rate of57%, the survival rate is52%. Inshore cage captivity female Scylla serrata and maleScylla serrata measurement data respectively, it found that the survival rate of femaleScylla serrata to be higher than the male Scylla serrata about5%, and the female Scyllaserrata have a significant differences with male Scylla serrata in the productionperformance, the females Scylla serrata are larger than the male Scylla serrata ingeneral merchandise specifications. The node data fitting of each time with carapacewidth and carapace length of the female Scylla serrata and male Scylla serratarespectively,it show a linear relationship between the carapace width and carapacelength. The relationship between female Scylla serrata carapace length and carapacewidth: y=2.0371x-1.3520,R~2=0.8573;The relationship between male Scylla serratacarapace length and carapace width: y=1.7371x-0.9520,R~2=0.9201.Hanging depth of Scylla serrata production performance comparison results showthat the crab cage hanging depth increases, the average weight of Scylla serrata alsoincreases; hanging deeper depth, the faster growth in carapace width and carapace length. With the increase in the growth phase, the average growth rate for each group ofscyllo increases gradually. In September, the rate of growth index increase with eachgroup reach maximum. Different initial specifications of captivity Scylla serratacomparison shows that the average weight of the initial specifications crab exhibit thesame trend, the growth rate of the average weight in each period is closer, one of theinitial specifications about75g for better vitality in each period, the highest growth rateof weight; process of cultivation, it gradually narrow the gap between the crab carapacewidth and carapace length of each specifications Scylla serrata, among them initialspecifications for30g,50g and75g of the crab carapace width and carapace length havea fastest growing.
