Slope land was the research object during the developmental stages in hilly area of central sichuan basin at this study, The method for laboratory test and outdoor test combined analysis was used to carry out researching which is about the characteristic of anti-erodibility,anti-scourability during the developmental stages, hope to provides the theory basis for the agricultural sustainable development in this region. At the same time, to provide a scientific basis for the allocation of erosion control measures in the region. The results show that:(1) Soil anti-erodibility index expressed downward trend with time decreased during the developmental stages of maize. Soil anti-erosion index with soil water decreased degree is smaller at the stage from big flare period to maturity, while the0-20cm and20-40cm in soil anti-erosion index decreased greatly at stage from seedling to small flare stage in the layer of0-20cm and different growing stage of maize in the layer of20-40cm. The characteristics of soil anti-erosion index during the developmental stages of maize show that:the soil anti-erosion index trend was smaller growth before the small bell stage, small trumpet stage to tasseling stage, soil erosion resistance index increased and reached the maximum in tasseling stage to mature stage, decreased the. In the same growth period, soil erosion resistance index of0-20cm was higher than20-40cm soil layer. With the development stages of maize, soil anti-erodibility showed a trend of first increase and then decrease, the overall performance is: tasseling stage, mature stage, booting stage, small bell stage, seedling stage, enhancing effect of maize plants on soil anti-erodibility is mainly reflected in the big trumpet period to mature stage,0-20cm layer soil anti-erodibility enhanced effect was better than that20-40cm layer. Soil anti-erodibility index with soil bulk density and soil>2mm water-stable aggregates showed a significant positive correlation (P<0.05), at the same time with organic matter and <0.25mm water-stable aggregates showed very significant positive and negative correlation. At maize root parameters, soil anti-erodibility with root amount, root surface area and root volume was extremely significant positive correlation respectively, the correlation of root diameter<0.5mm roots with soil anti-erodibility was maximum. (2) In the process of soil scouring of maize in different growth period, sediment concentration of runoff was first dropped abruptly with scouring time prolonged, then declined slowly and finally tends to be stable trend. At the different growth stages of maize, soil anti-scourability and enhancement effect with the growth stage to promote increased and reached the maximum value in maturity stage, with the increase of scouring slope, the increasing trend was decreased. Soil anti-scourability with soil bulk density and organic matter and>2mm water-stable aggregates were positively correlated, and<0.25mm water-stable aggregates was significantly negatively correlated with root parameters, Soil anti-scourability and root characteristics parameters have good correlation.(3) With the developing of maize, soil shear strength of the soil layer at0-5cm depth continuously increased, reached the maximum of3.5kg-cm-2at its maturity stage, soil shear st-rength of the soil layer at5-10cm and10-15cm depth expressed the trend of increasing first and decreasing later, reached the maximum of4.4kg-cm-2and5.9kg-cm-2at the teaseling Stage; The reinforcing effect of the shear strength of maize on the first three soil layers was good, the reinforcing rate in teaseling stage was the highest; shear strength and the soil moisture was two function relation, shear strength and bulk density showed a highly significant positive linear correlation, root amount, root length and root volume and shear strength were significantly positive correlation;...
