The system of GPS-controlled land leveling can improve the precision land levelingoperations of the farmland area. The system is the high technology equipment whichcanweather operations, affected by weather and other external factors is small,is a higherdegree of automation and control, is to achieve water-saving irrigation and improveagricultural production. Its operating path optimization planning is a key technology toimprove the operating efficiency of flat. This study, based on the existing GPS-controlled land leveling system and relatedresearch, By processing and analyzing GPS3D terrain dataof farmland, calculating thereference elevation and ground transport earthwork, and according to the principle ofminimum earthwork migration, using mathematical modeling methods and optimalplanning theory, the thesisresearch on the path planning method of land leveling based onthe GPS technology. This research work mainly includes the following aspects:First, the thesis researchtheworking principle and characteristicsof the GPS controlledleveling system, and determine the composition of the path planning system, workflowof software, module division and software development. Software development processusing VC++2010combined with the Surfer Automation, MATLAB mixed programmingtechniques to achieve the corresponding secondary development of software functions.Second, the thesis research the GPS coordinates of the data conversion and errorcorrection processing methods, and proposes that how touse a first three-dimensional datainterpolation on farmland area then calculate ground elevation by using the arithmeticaverage and use DEM grid reference method to calculate the amount of earthworkmigration method, so as to effectively reduce the data error effect on the path planning.Third, the thesis introduce the software development methods how to generate athree-dimensional electronic topographic maps, and map edit with ActiveX controltechnology. Visual analysis of three-dimensional electronic map based on the GPS data isachieved.Fourth, this study proposes how to use mathematical modeling to research the pathplanning method of land leveling based on the GPS technology. By the methods of GPS3D terrain data grid, elevation information analysis, the plains constraints simplifiedmethod and path classification analysis, This study achieve the optimization of the operating path, so that the auxiliary driver high efficiency of the implementation of landleveling operations. Finally, the simulation software system based on the GPS3D terrain dataoffarmlandis conducted to verify the feasibility of the system.
