Tea (Camellia Sinensis L.) belongs to the Theaceae, Camellia, and it was native to China. Cutting propagation is an effective way to speed up the breeding rate of tea varieties, reduce costs.The study was conducted on tea cutting test, varieties of tea cuttings, cutting medium, the selection of reagent and the concentration promote rooting and use methods, the technical measures to improve the survival rate of cuttings, on four varieties of tea tree in the determination of physiological indexes under low temperature stress to analyze its correlation with hardiness. Main research conclusion is as follows:(1) Rooting rate differences between cultivars. varieties of tea tree cutting effect is differet, the average rooting rate from high to low in turn is Baihaozao>Longjingchangye>Pingyangtezao> Longjing43> Anji baicha>Biyun, Baihaozao have the highest average rooting rate (88%), Biyun have the lowest rooting rate (36.6%). The investigation of6tea plant varieties in this experiment, Baihaozao rooting characters is the best, survival rate, rooting rate had significant difference with other varieties, the cutting effect is the best.(2) In the hormone combination test, the highest average rooting rate reached85.6%is using IBA100mg/kg,1hour; Average root number up to17root/plant is using IBA100mg/kg,3hours; The average longest root length of3.3cm is using IBA200mg/kg3hours. NAA, IBA, GGR6had a role in promoting cuttings survival, rooting and growth of tea tree.Especially under NAA200mg/L processing, average cuttings rooting rate, average rooting number, average longest root length are the best.Average rooting rate reached73.6%, average rooting number reached13.17root/plant, average longest root up to2.17cm.(3) Studied on the rooting Situation of species, substrate type, type and concentration of hormone.For Longjingchangye, Ratio of the substrate is peat:perlite:vermiculite=1:1:1, deal with2h under NAA200mg/L (combinationC1S1H3) had the highest average rooting rate, reached74%.(4) Under the low temperature stresses, the activity of membrane protective enzymes are changed.The change trend of the activity of POD and SOD is" high-low", Longjing43(seedling) changed greatly.It showed that under low temperature stress, SOD and POD activity will increase, the increased range and cold hardiness in plants are positively correlated.
