| In this study, we use the data accumulated in the breeding of Kang Da (KD) rabbit linesto estimate the genetic parameters of growth traits and reproductive traits in each lines by theassistance of the software of ASReml. Later on, we take a practical investigation onproduction and administration system of KD rabbits, the study defined biological andbreeding technique parameters, population economics parameters, genetic parameters,population construction parameters, investment parameters and so on. The breeding object ofKD rabbit was determined using the methods of systematic analysis and the marginal profit ofeach breeding objective traits was calculated at the same time by using margin approach.The genetic parameters of7rabbit lines and15traits was estimated using animal modeland ASReml software. The growth traits contained weight at weaning (WW), weight at70day (W70), average daily gain (ADG), weight at90day (W90), weight at120day (W120)and the growth traits contained conception rate (CR), litter size (LS), new born alive (NBA),litter weight (LW), litter size at21day (LS21), new born alive (NBA), survival rate at21day(SR21), milking capacity (MC), litter size at weaning (LSW), litter weight at weaning (LWW),survival rate at weaning (SRW). The heritabilities of growth traits are among0.02-0.35. Theheritabilities of W70are higher and more stable than other traits. The maternal addictiveeffect diminishs through the growth of litters, which shows that the maternal influence onlitter diminishs. The genetic correlation and phenotypic traits were estimated at the same time.Moderate correlations were found among growth traits, and negative phenotype correlationwas found between WW and ADG in all lines and negative genetic correlation in LINE3andLINE6. The reproductive traits have lower heritabilities among0.005-0.15. The traits relatedto weight have higher than other traits. The repeatabilities are small in all lines, and higherthan heritabilities. Reproductive traits tested at the same time have a higher correlation amongall the traits. Both SR21and SRW have negative correlation with traits tested before21d. Thecorrelation between milking capacity and weaning traits is high. From the previous estimatesof genetic parameters, it is conducted that the WW and W70could be used as selection traitsas growth traits and the selection of CR, NBA, LW21and LS21could be efficient to improve prolificacy of maternal lines. ADG, SR21and SRW are not recommended as selection traits.8breeding objective traits were determined in both reproductive traits and growth traits,namely, CR, NBA, LW21, WW, SRW, W70, ADG, feed gain ratio (FGR). The importance of each traits inside of each lines as follows: LINE A:0.08%,2.67%,6.23%,1.08%,0.05%,2.42%,0.11%,87.36%; LINE B:25.99%,48.89%,7.13%,4.50%,0.64%,3.39%,0.04%,9.42%; LINE C:8.47%,52.81%,5.70%,0.77%,0.00%,1.91%,0.08%,30.25%. The breeding importance of three pure line A/B/C as follows:25.04%,37.86%,37.10%.
