The research, selected according to the studies on genetic resources excavation, evaluation and utilization of goats breed in Sichuan Province. Goat breeds (groups) is rich in Sichuan province. According to the results of survey, there was6local goat breeds,3breeding goat breeds,4goat breeds were introduced,2goat groups are breeding in Sichuan province, in addition, there are6goat resources.6goat breeds was listed in Sichuan Varieties in1987,5goat breeds was listed in the National varieties in1988,12goats was listed in genetic resources in2011. The goat resources have many characteristics such as quantity, wide distribution in Sichuan province. So goat resources have a value of excavation and utilization.This test was carried out with Growth and development index,production performance, meat quality,nutrient composition,amino acids in the crossbred Tianfu meat goats and Yanting black goats.The data had carried on the statistical analysis, the analysis results are as follows:1. Growth and development indexes:The body weight, body height, body length, chest circumference, chest depth, chest width in crossbred Tianfu meat goats was far greater than Yanting black goats. The body weight, body weight and chest depth was significant higher than Yanting black goats(P<0.05).2. Production performance:slaughter of live weight, carcass weight, meat weight, slaughter rate and meat percentage in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was significant greater than Yanting black goats(P<0.05). Bone weight, Loin eye area, meat-bone ratio did not show obvious difference(P>0.05).3.Meat quality:The drip loss, tenderness shear values and GR values in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was higher than Yanting black goats, the muscle fiber diameter, pH values were greater than Yanting black goats, and meat quality indexes shows no significant difference(P>0.05).4. Nutrient composition:the crude fat, crude ash content in crossbred Tianfu meat goats less than Yanting black goats, Initial moisture, crude protein content in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was higher than Yanting black goats, nutrient composition shows no significant difference(P>0.05).5. Amino acids:The total amount of essential amino acids and total amino acids in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was greater than Yanting black goat, non-essential amino acids less than Yanting black goat. except glycine in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was significantly less than Yanting black goat(P<0.05), the lysine in crossbred Tianfu meat goat was significantly greater than Yanting black goat.Through to the investigation of production performance of goat breeds (groups) in Sichuan province. The cashmere yield of Tibetan goat was higher than baiyu white goat. The meat production performance of Tianfu meat goat, Nanjiang yellow goat, Jianyang big ears goat, Jintang black goat and Lezhi black goat was better, the milk quantity of Ya’an milk goat, Tianfu meat goat, Jintang black goat and Lezhi black goat was higher. The quality of skin of Chuandong white goat, Jianchuang black goat, Lezhi black goat, Chengdu ma goat, Gulin ma goat and Beichuan white goat was better. Through the survey also found that some native black goat has a higher reproduction rate in Sichuan province, The reproductive rates of the black goats were higher over200.00%, except Jianchang black goat and Baiyu black goat. The growth and development in earlier stage of the black goats were good, the body weight of male goats in6month is higher than20kg in4breeds. The meat productivity was higher too, the dressing percentage of the bucks was over47.00%and the meat percentage was over37.00%. In the black goat taxa, Nanchong black goat, Yibin black goat, Hejiang black goat, Jialing black goat, Jiang’an black goat, Yingshan black goat were few report, The most studied on biological markers and molecular markers of genetic markers of goat resources in Sichuan province, from molecular level research goat resources genetic diversity, not only from molecular level to define the goat breed of different ecological types or hybrid groups. It can also learn about the origins of these goat resources differentiation, taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships, improve the level of goat breeding, It is great significant to explore and identify the goat resources.
