Potassium is closely related on plants about growth and development,to improving the content of potassium in tobacco is research which we are interested. The development of Proteomics and technology bring new views,it can help us know more about potassium biological process on tobacco plants. We study Low Potassium Stress by2-DE technology on tobacco in proteomics,it include treating the tobacco K326plants which seedling4weeks12hours,24hours,48hours and controls. Then we extract the tobacco plants’s protein, separat the protein, and identificat the spot of protein by MALDI-TOF-TOF-MS.Finally,classificat the protein on gene ontologr. We find that36proteins have changed in low potassium stress.Including9proteins up-regulation in12hours low potassium stress which have13proteins changed;there are13proteins changed the relative expression amounts in24hours low potassium stress,up-regulation10proteins;there are12proteins down-regulation in48hours low potassium stress, which have26proteins changed. We know the name and GI number about33of36proteins by mass spectrometry,include3proteins are hypothetical protein, which just have information of EST.The great majority matching species are Nicotiana tabacum, also have Arabidopsis thaliana,Solanum tuberosum,Vitis vinifera. The some of proteins is Plastocyanin B’/B" and ferredoxin which related to plant photosynthesis, chilling-responsive protein and superoxide dismutase.chaperonin and mRNA-binding protein. We classificat the33proteins on gone ontology, its involved in six major categories of molecular function, cellular componentof8and15biological processes. We analysis all the proteins online with blast2go,finding24KEGG pathway from17enzymes.
