Postharvest quality of fruit and vegatables declined seriously in storage time and transportation when postharvest diseases of fruit occur.Of all these diseases, fungal diseases are the most common ones. We choose Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides as the representative fungus, add salicylic aid (SA) and CaCl2into the growing environment of both Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, observe the inhibitory effect of SA and CaCl2to Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, then we do some research about the influence of SA and CaCl2on postharvest quality. The effect of SA in combination with CaCl2on postharvest disease of strweeberry and apple fruit was studied together with SA or CaCl2treatment alone. The results are follows.1. CaCal2impacted the growing development of Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, it proved out to be negative correlation between the concentration of CaCl2and colony diameter.SA has the same affections on Botrytis cinerea, and restrain Colletotrichum gloeosporioidesperfect above5mM.SA combine with cacb can control the germs more than they were on their own.2. Both CaCb and S A can maintain quality of postharvest strawberry and apply fruit; the combine treatment showed higher capability on it.10%-5mM treatment showed the best ability of keeping quality.3. Compared with SA and CaCl2, Combine treatment reduced the incidence of Botrytis in strawberry and Anthracnose in apple fruit, decreased the average diameters of lesions.4. For strawberry fruit invaded by Botrytis cinerea and apple fruit invaded by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, CaCl2and SA can enhance the production of resistance enzymes, including polyphenol oxidase (PPO), peroxidase (POD) and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL). Compared with CaCl2treatments, SA treatments increase the activity rapidly; however SA inhibited the activities of catalase (CAT), which was enhanced by CaCl2treatments. CaCl2and SA increase lignin content and total phenolic content, which can protect cell from injuring of pathogens, The data shows that CaCl2behaved better than SA in influence of lignin content and total phenolic content. CaCl2and SA inhibit the production of MDA during the storage time. 5. Combine treatment increase the activity of PPO、POD and PAL, adjust the content of resistance material in fruit. According to datas CaCl2and SA enhangced each other in POD, PAL, PPO, and weaken each other in CAT.
