This paper is carbonization and acetylation treatment on Phyllostachys heterocycla cvpubescens, decay resistance to improve the dimensional stability and reduce the negativeimpact of bamboo, for the purpose of change the physical mechanics of materialperformance degradation respectively.Using single factor analysis method and orthogonalexperiment of carbonization and acetylation treatment on bamboo, studies the mainphysical properties, modification materials mechanical properties, corrosion resistance,FTIR feature, variation of crystallinity and TG, results show:(1)Carbonized bamboo color is deepened, and with the increase of treatmenttemperature and treatment time, lightness value of L*decreases gradually, the largestdecline of up to41.73%, the color difference of△E*shows increasing trend, the largestincrease of up to91.57%, a*, b*and C*increase in different degrees; acetyl material colorthan the material color, brightness of L*have different degrees of decline, the biggest dropof45.9%, red and green of a*increases, C*decreases slightly, the color difference of△E*is larg, the specimen color changes obviously.(2)The moisture absorption rate of untreated samples is12.51%, water absorption rateis92.71%. The rate of moisture and water of carbonized materia absorption fluctuatebetween8.50%~10.93%and46.95%~90.68%. The decline of material are greatly, andwith the carbonization temperature and carbonization time prolonged, moisture absorptionrate and water absorption rate gradually decreasing trend. The moisture and waterabsorption rate of bamboo after acetylation treatment are between6.98%~9.86%and33.52%~53.30%.(3)There have different degree of decreased on mechanical properties on carbonizedbamboo, the maximum compressive strength parallel to grain fell31.63%, the largestdecline in MOR and MOE are68.38%and38.02%; The bamboo by acetylation-treatmentincreases on compression strength and the largest increase up to31.28%. The MOR andMOE decrease in varying degrees, the largest decline are49.06%and43%respectively.(4)Compared with material, carbonization bamboo decay resistance improve to gradeII and gradeⅠ,appear corrosion resistance and strong corrosion resistance when infectedby Coriolus versicolor, gloeophyllum trabeum,Lentinus edodes and Pleurotus ostreatus;Acetylated wood decay resistance improve to grade Ⅰ, and appeared strong corrosionresistance.(5)This paper also discussed the mechanism of modified material performance improvement. Through the study of modified wood chemical component, Fouriertransform infrared spectra, crystal analysis and thermogravimetry, We can infer thechanges of internal structure of the situation, for laying the foundation for further research.
