In this paper, investigated the occurrence regularity of the main pests and natural enemies based on the survey data in Xiao County, and set out a green control technology system. The results were as follows:1. Aphis gossypii, Helicoverpa armigera and Tetranychus telarius were the three main pests in Xiao County, the population of Bemisia tabaci and Lygus lucorum was increasing, with the way of planting changing and global warming. The population of A. gossypii was very high before1998, and after2002, it’s number gradually reduced. The natural enemy creatures can effectively control the cotton aphid after2006. The damage of H. armigera was very serious in the70s in Xiao County, but fall back in the80s. While it occurred again from1992to1996. H. armigera became secondary pest with the extensive popularization of gene-modified cotton planting, but the population of H. armigera has a tendency to rebound in recent years. The reason was the loss of its resistance.2. Propylaea japonica, Therdion octomaculatu and Chrysopa formosa were the main natural enemies. The populations of natural enemies greatly reduced before1994, for the cotton ecological environmental damaged. The reason was the chemical pesticide heavily applied. The population of natural enemies rose slowly, and gradually formed a stable system after2006.3. Yang Zhi trap was the main method in Xiao County. The development direction in the future was to use Yang Zhi to trap cotton bollworm, use insecticidal lamp in suitable areas, use the yellow plate to trap aphids and whiteflies.we should choose good varieties, sow fertilization scientific, protect natural enemies in cotton fields, and use low toxicity and efficient chemical pesticides when it is necessary.
