Xinyang city has a long tea planting history. With the development of modern chemical industry and the misuse of pesticides and fertilizers, agricultural ecosystem had been polluted. Environment condition was worsening. The healthful quality of tea has been influenced badly. For tea trades and consumers, residual pesticides and poisonous metals in the tea production have become one of the attention problems. This reach studied the Occurrence Regularity, Main Pests and Natural Enemies, agricultural cultivation method, physical control, biological control, chemical control, and so on. The conclusion is summarized as follows:1 .In XinYang, there are 42 species of tea pests, and 51 species of Insect Natural Enemies of Tea Pests. By fixed-point and quantitative , observation of pests'number under frequency trembler grid lamps ,and ground survey, the bionomics and the forecasting technique tea pests are makes cleared .2. Through Autumn ploughing, pruning, and extirpateing buds with aphid, we could get good results on pest control.3. frequency trembler grid lamps is very useful on contorling various tea pests. It could Trap 75.32% tea leaf roller and 82.56% tea tussock moth.4. Efficiently BT, tea tussock moth nuclear polyhedrosis virus, tea geometrid nuclear polyhedrosis virus, Beauveria bassiana (Bals. ) Vuil, oxymatrine ,all have good effect on contorling tea pests.5. 2.5% cypermethrin EC has very high virulent to 3 or 4 vinstar larvae of tea geometrid. 3.2% Chongshajing has very high virulent to tea geometrid , tea leafhopper and tea aphids. The economically rational dosage of 3.2% Chongshajing is set as 50mL /667m~2.
