Brontispa longissima (Gestro) is a major pest of palm trees plants, its biological controlmainly place focus on parasitoid wasp and pathogenic microorganisms on the application.Asecodes hispinarum can parasitize every instar of B. longissima and prefer the2nd and3rdlarvae.Using the method of extraction to collect1st-5th larvaes’ volatile and using theGS-MS analysis1st-5th larvaes’ volatile components and their feces in this study. Accordingto the analysis, the volatile compounds in Larvae B. longissima consist of saturated group, lipids, terpenes compounds and nitrogen.Larvae volatile components have been detected that the three compounds such asN-[(diethylamino)methyl]-N-methylacetamide,1,1’-Blphenyl,3,4-dlethyl-andPentalene.octahydro-1(2-octyldecyl)-(cas), were only appear in2nd and3rd larva.Larvae feces volatile components have been detected that the relative content of elevenkinds of components in2nd larvae are higher than in1st,3rd and5th larvae and the relativecontent of nine kinds of components in3rd larvae are higher than in1st,3rd and5th larvae, such as hexadecamethyl-Heptasiloxane-, unknown substance1and PHENOL,2,6-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methyl-(cas). One of them maybe is the important reason forAsecodes hispinarum to parasitize in B. longissima and also maybe a mix of severalcompounds effect the A. hispinarum’s parasitism.
