Tea pesticide residue problem has always been a basic obstacle of restricting the development of tea industry. Under the tea pesticide residue problem is the excessive reliance on chemical pesticides and lack of effective pest control technologies. As phototaxis is the instinct of most insects, using insect phototaxis to control pest is feasible.Dawu is a famous tea producing area of China in Hubei province. This study based on tea garden in Dawu, using insect phototaxis as pest-killing lamp and sticky colour trap to research the practicability of the pest control in the tea garden. At the same time, as each kinds of insects have different sensitive light wavelength and different favorite colors of the trap, we aimed at finding a kind of light source and color trap, which has a good effective of pest control and has small influence on the neutral insect and natural enemy insect.1. Tea garden insects occurred dynamics under the light and color traps trapping effects. In this study, the pests species of which have a larger occurrence quantity under the lamp trapping are Euproctis pseudoconspersa(511), Ectropis oblique(1100), Empoasca vitis(14667), Amata germane(2019), Melolonthidae(19323) and Rutelidae(1676). Euproctis pseudoconspersa occurred3rd generation per year, Ectropis oblique occurred4th generation per year, Empoasca vitis occurred9th generation per year, Amata germane occurred2nd generation per year, Melolonthidae and Rutelidae concentrated in June and July. The pests species of larger occurrence quantity under the colour trap trapping are Dialeurodes citri(13385), Aleurocanthus spiniferu (3586), Empoasca vitis(2436) and Scirtothrips dorsalis(46666). Dialeurodes citri occurred4th generation per year, trapping peak period is in the end of April. Aleurocanthus spiniferus occurred3rd generation per year, trapping peak period is in the middle of June. Scirtothrips dorsalis had a overlapping generations, the trapping peak period is end of June and end of August to beginning of September. To the neutral insects, Hydrophilidae’s trapping peak period is early July, Dytiscidae’s trapping peak period is late August. To the natural enemy insects, Carabidae’s trapping peak period is late August, Staphilinidae’s trapping peak period is early May and early September, parasitic wasp’s trapping peak period is early September, Coccinellidae has a stable trapping quantity from June to August.2. Effects of different light resources on the trapping and killing pestsThe experiment of the trapping effects of different light resources shows that, light3has the largest trapping quantity on Euproctis pseudoconspersa(59). Light2has the largest trapping quantity on Ectropis oblique(149), and light CK get the second(142). Light5has the largest trapping quantity on Empoasca vitis(1262). Light6has the largest trapping quantity on Melolonthidae(2024) and Rutelidae(203). Light16has the largest trapping quantity on Amata germane (237), and light2makes the second(232).Using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to analysis the result of the light trapping effects, the results show that light source6is the best among the lights to control pests in the tea garden and at the same time has the lighter influence on neutral insect and the natural enemy insects. The light2is also recommended to use in the pest-killing lamp on the pests control.3. Effects of different colour traps on the trapping and killing pestsThe experiment of the trapping effects of different colour traps shows that, yellow colour trap has a prominent trapping effect on Dialeurodes citri(5673), Aleurocanthus spiniferus(2002) and Empoasca vitis(850). Yellow colour trap traps Scirtothrips dorsalis10466individuals and the blue colour trap traps9741individuals, they are both prominently better than other colour traps. Green colour trap also has a effectively trapping ability on Dialeurodes citri(2687) and Empoasca vitis(358).The yellow color trap got the lowest ratio of natural enemy insects to pests(0.65:100). The ratio of black color trap (8.7:100) is prominently larger than other color traps.
