Study On Sex Pheromone Sticky Traps And No-Pollution Sticky Shellac And Its Effect On Whitefly And The Diseases Caused By Whitefly

The tomato is a kind of important crops in the world and it have been planted in the majority countries. In China, the tomato holds the important position in our country national economy and most of people like it. it changed people's life and the food habit to a certain extent. Whitefly is an important pest which is harmful to tomato. In recent years, the counter-season vegetables cultivation area expanded day by day to provide a good winter environment for whitefly, the occurrence and damage of whitefly has been paid more attention than ever. Sooty blotch and virus diseases which occurrence and damage is relatively common in all of tomato diseases and have certain relations with occurrence of whitefly .Currently the control of tomato diseases and insect pests mainly rely on chemical control, but it brings a series of ecological, environmental issues, this does not meet the concept of modern agricultural development. Especially in recent years, the developed countries in the world set up a series of technical barriers which had a serious impact to the export of China's tomato. In recent years, the use of yellow sticky boards to control whitefly and other pests become an important research direction. Pheromone pest control technology has been widely used in recent years, due to the prevention of pheromone specific object clear, environmentally safe. Pheromone becomes one of the hot, more and more pheromone products are developed. Owing to the poor viscosity and persistence time is short, the promotion and application of sticky insect glue and sticky insect board in pest detection and control was limited. The results are as follows:1. This study, we did a large number of experiments. We considered the nature of the components from the adhesive, environmental safety, production feasibility, production cost and other aspects. At last, we have got a sticky insect glue which have better viscosity, better resistant to rain erosion,acid,Alkali and anti-aging. The formula is EVA6000: CSM: Polymerized Rosin: Hydrogenated Rosin: petroleum jelly: mineral oil: kaolin = 8:4:2:1:2.6:1:1.2. The research on the use of yellow sticky board with pheromone in whitefly control:we found that it can better snare whitefly if the distance is less than 4.5m between yellow sticky board with pheromone and tomato. The effect of trapping survey in different time of day shows that the period from 10:00 to 14:00 is the largest, accounting for more than half of the day .it average temperature is above 23℃. We found yellow sticky board with pheromone not only can more effectively control whitefly and can persistent longer time by comparison with the chemical control. It has significant effects to whitefly eggs on the decline also.3. In this study, we used yellow sticky board with pheromone to control tomato diseases. We study the relationship between the control of whitefly and the control diseases of tomato preliminarily. Through the investigation of disease occurrence, we found in yellow sticky board with pheromone control area than in the CK area disease incidence of about 18% lower. The other whitefly control methods could also reduce the incidence of tomato diseases to some extent. This shows that prevention and control whitefly can reduce the incidence of tomato diseases to a certain extent.
