The study tested fumigation toxicity of essential oil of Armoracia rusticana on Tribolium confusum Jac.du Val. adults, According to the results of fumigation toxicity, we study the effects of Allyl isothiocynate on activities of Detoxification and Protective Enzymes(AChE, GSTs, SOD, POD) in Tribolium confusum Jac.du Val. adults. The results show as follows:1. We measured fumigation activity athomin crude for miscellaneous Castaneum in RH80%full dark conditions at28℃. The results showed that the concentration is the key influence fumigation fumigation effect. When the fumigation concentration at1.21μL/L, the corrected the mortality of miscellaneous Castaneum can reach100%after fumigation48h. Fumigation with crude athomin for miscellaneous castaneum adults24h,48h,72h, the LC50values reach0.93,0.69,0.51μ/L respectively. With the extension of fumigation time, the LC50values decreased, but the decline LC50value has not increased significantly, indicating that prolonged exposure time has little effect on the LC50values.2. With a lethal concentration of athomin for miscellaneous castaneum adults fumigation treatment, the acetylcholinesterase and trends peroxidase content in vivo of treated insects is basically the same with the control group, indicating that the two enzymes are not the prime target enzyme of horseradish. The effect for glutathione-S-transferase and superoxide dismutase is more obvious. After fumigation36h, treatment and control groups insects glutathione-S-transferase enzyme activity produced a significant difference. The superoxide dismutase significant differences emerge over time, there was also significant difference interactive role with horseradish prime time, indicating that superoxide dismutase may play a protective role in the fumigation process.
