The compound acidifiers are combined with two or more than two kinds of simple acidifiers according to a certain proportion. It can stimulate appetite of animals, rise the activity of digestive enzyme, balance the gut microflora and improve immunity. Compound acidifiers are regarded as green feed additives that can partly replace antibiotics. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of compound acidifiers on growth, immunity and enteric microflora in broilers chickens and to provide theoretical basis for the reasonable utilization and the feasibility of replacing antibiotics of compound acidifiers.Test Ⅰ The effect of compound acidifiers on growth performance of broiler chickens.360healthy one-day AA broilers chickens were allocated randomly into eight groups named S1, S2, S3, Z1, Z2, Z3, K and N group. S1, S2and S3are commercial compound acidifiers. Z1, Z2and Z3are made by the center of diagnosis and treatment of animal disease, Nanjing Agricultural University. K group is the one containing antibiotics. N group is blank control group. Every group has45broiler chickens, containing3repeats, every repeat has15broilers chickens. Record the mental state, mortality, food consumption and defecation everyday. Body weigh of broiler chickens was detected in the14th,28th and42nd day in different experimental groups, then calculating the F/G and ADG. Pick out15chickens of each group and collect3mL blood from each chicken in the morning of the14th,28th and42nd day, measuring the MDA, BUN, GLU, ALB, TP, ALT and AST of blood serum by centrifuge. The results showed that the F/G of N group was apparently higher than other groups in the14th day (P<0.05), and the F/G of Z1, Z3and K group were also apparently higher than S1, S2, S3and Z2groups in the28th day (P<0.05). The ADG of S1, S2, S3, Z2and K group were apparently higher than Z1and N groups of the14th day(P<0.05). The ADG of Z1, Z3and N groups were apparently lower than S1、S2、 S3and Z2groups in the28th day (P<0.05). The morbidity of N Group were highest, Z1and Z3followed, the mortality of K and S1were similar, S2’s was lower, and the mortality of S3 and Z2were zero. Except Z1Group, the BUN content of Z3and N Group were apparently higher than other groups (P<0.05). The GLU content of N group was apparently higher than other groups (P<0.05). The TP content of Z1and N were apparently lower than S1, S2, S3and Z2groups (P<0.05). So compound acidifiers are benefit to improve the growth of broiler chickens.Test II The effect of compound acidifiers on enteric microflora of broilers chickens.270healthy one-day AA broilers chickens were allocated randomly into six groups named S1, S2, S3, Z, K and N group. S1, S2and S3are commercial compound acidifiers. Z is made by the center of diagnosis and treatment of animal disease, Nanjing Agricultural University. K group is the one containing antibiotics. N group is blank control group. Every group has45broiler chickens, containing3repeats, every repeat has15broiler chickens.15chickens were picked to be killed by jugular vein phlebotomy. The content in duodenum, jejunum, ileum and cecum was collected. The pⅡ of these intestinal content was detected. Bacteria of these intestinal tract was cultured, identified and counted.2cm intestinal tracts was cut down to make paraffin section. The results showed that the effect of antibiotics on restraining the growth of these four intestinal bacteria is significant (P<.05). In the aspect of promoting the growth of Lactobacillus, the effects of S1, S2and S3were significant (P<0.05), Z group followed (P<0.05), K and N were worse. In the aspect of pH, S1, S2, and S3were relatively lower, the pH of N group was the highest one (P<0.05). In the aspect of the length of intestinal villus, except for cecum (P>0.05), the length of other intestinal segments of the groups adding compounded acidifiers were apparently longer than N Group (P<0.05). The crypt depth of N group was shorter than the other groups, but not significant (P>0.05). There was also no significant difference among each group (P>0.05). So compound acidifiers can balance the gut microflora of broiler chickens.Test Ⅲ The effect of compound acidifiers on immune function of broilers chickens.270healthy one-day AA broiler chickens were allocated randomly into six groups named S1, S2, S3, Z, K and N group. S1, S2and S3are commercial compound acidifiers. Z is made by the center of diagnosis and treatment of animal disease, Nanjing Agricultural University. K group is the one containing antibiotics. N group is blank control group. Every group has45broiler chickens, containing3repeats, every repeat has15broiler chickens.15chickens from different experimental groups in the morning of the14th,28th and42nd day were picked to be killed by jugular vein, immune organ index, ANAE, ERFC and ND antibody concentration were detected. The results showed that there were no significant difference among each group on ANAE and ERFC (P>0.05). But in the aspect of ND antibody concentration, the level of S2and S3were apparently higher than N groups (P<0.05) on the28th day. The ND antibody level of each group adding compounded acidifiers were extremely apparently higher than N group on the42nd day(P<0.01). So compound acidifiers can improve the immunity of broiler chickens.
