| The biomass power generation is a technology, which converts biomass energy into electrical energy. Being charred from biomass by pyrolysis (350-500℃) under complete or incomplete absence of oxygen condition, biochar is a highly aromatic and low density carbonized solid matter with infusibility. As a foundational industry in China, agriculture system produces very huge biomass waste per year. How to utilize the biomass waste in a reasonable and environmental friendly way has been considered as a hotspot in recent years. This study mainly focused on the synthesis of acid soil improver and special fertilizer as biochar soil amendment agent for rice production by mixing and granulating two biomass wastes of power generation residue and biochar under different ratio.The granulation processes of acidic soil improvement agent are produced in a pan granulator as follows:mix biomass power generation waste and biochar with the proportion of1:3-2:3based on dry weight. After that, add about20%-25%adhesive and20%-30%water based on the total amount. In order to determine the best proportion of raw materials of granulating, soil pH was measured after adding agents produced with different proportion biochar and wastes to the acidic soil. Meanwhile, a pot experiment was performed to determine the effect of fertilizer produced on the plant growth. The experiment was lay out with4treatments (â‘ control,â‘¡the ash,â‘¢the ash:biocharâ‘£the ash:fertilizer) based on two soil types derived from Longnan and Dingnan county, respectively. Each treatment was conducted with100grams soil and had3replicates of each type of soil. Wheat was planted in each pot as an indicator.The protocol of special fertilizer for rice was similar to the acidic soil improver: Briefly, mix the biomass power waste and biochar under a certain proportion with shaking, add the adhesive and NH4H2PO4after mixing evenly. NH4H2PO4was used to adjust the pH of the acid mixture. After that, a certain amount of Potassium Chloride and Urea as well water was added finally. Another pot experiment was performed to determine the effect of special fertilizer on rice growth with the soil derived from a rice paddy from Yixing, Jiangsu Province.6treatments with3replicates were lay out as follows:the special fertilizer for rice, conventional fertilizer, biomass power generation waste, wheat biochar, biomass power generation waste and wheat biochar. Rice plant was growed in each pot filled with500g soils and250kg/hm2urea as N fertilizer.The main results were as follows:(1)The acidic soil improvement agent could improve the acid soil:the alkaline agent have a neutralization reaction with the acid soil, which neutralized the acid substances in acid soils, reduced the saturation of the acid ions. Meanwhile, the base ions of agent could also increase the saturation of base ions, reduce the saturation of acid ions.(2)Adding the cidic soil improvement agent could affect the wheat growth significantly, especially for the seriously polluted soil. The produced fertilizer had an effect on the wheat height, growth time with leaves turned yellow and death time.(3)The total nurteientã€the percentage of the water-soluble phosphorus take up to the effective phosphorus pentoxide of special fertilizer for rice achieved the high concentration index of the national standard. Low chloridion content indicating that it was an excellent and low chloridion fertilizer Our results showed that soil organic matter under special fertilizer addition increased by6.15%than that under conventional fertilizers. Increased soil organic matter could play a significance role in increasing soil fertility and developing sustainable agriculture since a lot of planting areas of our country have low content of organic matter.(4)Adding special fertilizer for rice to soils facilitated the absorption of nitrogen of rice plant. Comparing with the conventional fertilizer treatments, the nitrogen content in the part underground of rice plant under special fertilizer was increased by30.9%. Comparing with the conventional fertilizer treatments,the nitrogen content in the part overground of rice plant under special fertilizer had no difference.However,comparing with the control,the nitrogen content in the part overground of rice plant under special fertilizer was increased by38.1%. |
