Caged mariculture is mostly in the coastal port or shallow sea areas and the vast oceanspace is still not fully good use. With the offshore aquaculture density increasing and theaccumulation of residual feeding, that often has environmental problems such as diseaseproblem. The research of self-propelled cages will promote the development of mariculture.With the development of microelectronics technology, permanent magnetic materialproduction technology and power electronic technology, PMSM as the actuator of ac servosystem has been widely used in all walks of life. The high performance ac servo technologyis applied to self-propelled cages can improve the running accuracy of the cages and have abetter forward motion control. In this paper, the cages of permanent magnet synchronousmotor variable frequency speed control system is studied.Using coordinate transformation makes the strong coupling nonlinear mathematicalmodel of PMSM for decoupling, and we will get the mathematical model of the propulsionmotor under d-q coordinate system. Motor vector control theory is further researched, andthis paper proposed a clear propulsion motor ac servo drive system including hardware andsoftware designing. On the control strategy, we use the field oriented vector control andspeed loop, current loop control of double closed loop PI control scheme. The space vectorpulse width modulation is used. The propulsion motor control equivalent of dc motorcontrol mode.In the hardware structures, designed the control board, power board, and interpersonalinteraction module. We use the digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F2812as the corecontroller. Combined with their performance we design a series of peripheral circuit toachieve DC-AC-DC frequency conversion function.The corresponding circuit designingmainly includes the current detection circuit, modulation circuit of encoder, a serial portcommunication and various protection circuit design. To realize the function we give thesoftware programming.This paper build the simulation model with Matlab/Simulink. Get the propulsionmotor simulation interface Using with the GUI. It makes the simulation more simple andintuitive, and convenient to change the simulation parameters. A series of the simulationresults show that the design of speed control system has fast dynamic responding, stronganti-interference ability and robustness. Finally, the system has set up a platformexperiment, giving the experimental waveforms, verify the reliability of the design.
