Rice is an important food crop in China, rice production mechanization is an importantaspect of the development of modern agriculture, and rice transplanter is the majorequipment of the process of mechanization. When rice transplanter is moving in the paddyfield, around the floating plate will produce obstructing mud because of the resistance. Alarge number of floating sludge flocks to both two sides, and a lot of seedlings which havebeen planted will be pulling down,which is seriously affecting the quality of planting andtransplanting process. Therefore, solving the obstructing mud phenomenon is veryimportant. In order to solve this problem, structure optimization of obstructing mud basedon numerical simulation of flow field around the floating plate, which is very important toalleviate the appearance of obstructing mud and improve the efficiency of rice transplanter.This paper analyzes the integral floating plate as the research object. Theoreticalanalysis the force of floating plate when it sailing in the paddy field, and finding structureelements to affect the driving resistance, in detail analysis of the diversion angle effect. Themathematical model of flow field is established with accounting free surface effort and thesolving arithmetics are explaned theoretically, using the volume of fluid(VOF). WithFLUENT software, numerical simulation analysis of the integral floating plate, to get thevelocity, pressure, resistance, the free surface wave and water two phase diagram.Through the simulation analysis we can find the main part and reason for obstructingmud, then several structure optimization schemes will be proposed,which is numericallysimulated separately. By changing baffle angles, diversion angles, the transition point height,the front side of the cutting angle, inflow angles, lateral baffle height, inverted dihedral,tailgate structures and local chamfering, to get the best performance from each set ofoptimized scheme. And compared in turn to observe the drop resistance and indicateseffects. The simulation results show that, compared with the original model, the totalresistance of final structure is reduced by36.874%, getting an obvious effect in the mudreduction, thus the phenomenon of obstructing mud in the structure is improved. In addition,study on the structure optimization scheme of obstructing mud with separating floating plate,relatively fix the lord and side floating plate horizontal positions, analysis the impact ofobstructing mud produced by the lengthwise position relationship.Finally from this article we get two different optimizing structure of the floating plate,the phenomenon of obstructing mud in the structure is improved very well.
