The Agriculture of China is developing from traditional Agriculture to Precision Agriculture, while intelligent agricultural machinery is an important way to achieve that. By using intelligent agricultural machinery can greatly alleviate the problem that caused by shortage of labor, lower input-output ratio and serious waste. Due to the rising labor costs, Chinese cane industry is losing its original competitiveness in the international. If China could improve the level of mechanization of use in plant part, which demand for large number of labor, will be able to reduce the cost of the material sugarcane production greatly. As the phenomenon of seedlings deficiency and wasting fertilizer is so serious, an intelligent rehabilitation programs has been made up to avoiding that.Based on RTU mode of Modbus, designed communication protocol and preparation the function codes that related. Besides, defined the physical layer based on RS485, and finally completing the construction of the Modbus field bus network. The whole system makes up by the host computer which contains embedded system and the slave computer that based on microcontroller system. They are combined by Modbus net.Choosing ATmega8as the main controller of the Slave computer established the minimum system. Using ATmega8microcontroller’s capture function to capture a pulse signal which generated by the Hall sensor, then rely on M-velocimetry-theory calculate speed that system required. Achieving intelligently control of fertilizer emissions, by the means of PWM technology and Proportion-Hysteresis control method.S5PV210Hummingbird Series ARM processor is decided as the main controller, by transplanting uboot, Linux kernel for embedded system and Yaffs2file system establishing the hardware platform. Using Qt-Creator compiled a man-machine interface support Chinese and SQLite database.Download The Qt procedures, Song font, and tslib touch screen software library to the embedded platform through a U disk, then a full-touch-control man-machine is established.At the final completed system, the user can touch-screen input segment length, segment distance as well as single-and double-row planting and other information. Embedded devices will implement actions according to settings. The speed of machine, work distance, total fertilization and some other information will display on the screen. After planting task accomplishing, the user can click to save the total sugarcane and fertilizer of the day, for further analysis.The experimental results show that, the intelligent planting machine can base on the set of the user, Automatically completing the ditching, seeding, fertilizating, casing and a series of farming work.
