Agronomic traits.physiological characteristics and molecular markers were researched in26alfalfa germplasm materials,which planted in ShaErQin region of Hohhot,Inner Mongolia during the year between2012-2013.Agronomic traits such as plant height,number of branch stem,and hay yield were measured three times on June15th,July29th and September10th in2013;Measuring free proline and free MDA content of different alfalfa fresh leaf on July10th,September10th and November10th On the basis of extracting DNA from alfalfa fresh leaf, genetic diversity of different alfalfa germplasm materials and the relationship between agronomic traits and genetic characteristics were studied,provided the basis of alfalfa germplasm materials suited Hohhot area.The main results were as follows:LFour alfalfa germplasm materials included Sanditi and Sitel originated in the Netherlands,Cross No.2originated in China and Alfaking originated in the United States were better than the other alfalfa germplasm materials in the aspects of annual plant height,number of branch stem,rate of regrowth and annual yield. Plant height and rate of regrowth were two main factors to decide to alfalfa yield. Eventually,26alfalfa germplasm materials were divided into four categories with clustering analysis for eight agronomic traits of26alfalfa germplasm materials,mainly showed that similar agronomic traits in planting area of alfalfa germplasm materials clustered for a class.2.Under the condition of low temperature,the accumulation of free proline in domestic alfalfa germplasm materials with low fall dormancy level were higher than foreign alfalfa germplasm materials with high fall dormancy level.but free MDA content were lower.If we want to make sure it could survive the winter safely in the extreme cold weather,it should give priority to domestic alfalfa germplasm materials.3.Genetic diversity analysis was carried out on26alfalfa germplasm materials based on ISSR molecular marker. In the correlation coefficient of0.71,26alfalfa germplasm materials were divided into four categories,most varieties with the same or similar genetic background clustered for a class, however.some varieties such as Sanditi,Sitel,Derby originated in the Netherlands,Xinjiang Daye originated in China,and Hunterriver originated in Australia clustered into a category,Maybe it had gene exchange due to introduced in these areas.4.Comparing agronomic traits clustering results and molecular marker clustering results of26alfalfa germplasm materials,agronomic traits clustering results mainly associated with the conditions of soil and climate in planting area, but molecular marker clustering results mainly related to genetic background of different alfalfa germplasm materials.
