Objective: To investigate the effect of embryo neural stem cells (NSCT) transplantationin the children with cerebral palsy and traumatism and clinical course0f stroke. Methods: After regular body check, Embryo neural stem cells were implanted intodamnification function in skull by using stereotactic technology in40patients withchildren with cerebral palsy and traumatism and clinical course0f stroke from June2011to December2012. N euro trophic factors and physical therapy were also applied to thepatients. The functional independence measure and Motor Function Measure-88and Ashworth scale were adopted to evaluate the motor ability and self care ability0f all thepatients before and3,6,12months after treatment.SPSS statistical software was used forthe analysis of results. Results: All patients who received treatment from the operation without seriouscomplication. The motor function were improved at different degrees and they werecontinuously improved6months after discharge. FIM score before transplantation.1month and6months after transplantation were90.18±2.22,92.68±2.39and95.46±2.39.respectively.It was significantly higher1month after transplantation of neuralstem cells than before transplantation and was significantly higher in6months than1month after transplantation. Conclusion: Transplantation of neural stem cell Can improve the children with cerebralpalsy and traumatism and clinical course0f stroke to some extent and improve the livingquality of patients with stroke, this operation reduce the operative injury and have greatforeground in Department of Neurosurgery.
