PurposeDiscuss Hepcidin expression level in patients with chronic kidney disease and therelationships between Hepcidin with micro-inflammation, iron metabolism and anemia inchronic kidney disease.MethodSelect28patients of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) as one group (MHD group),15non-dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) as one group (non-dialysis CKDgroup),10normal people as one group (normal group). Each men’s venous blood was taken inthe morning, which were divided into four, one was sent to test Hb in Clinical ExaminationRoom, one was sent to test BUN,CREA,SI,ALB in Clinical Biochemistry Room, one was sentto test SF,PTH in Nuclear Medicine Room, one was for using ELISA method to detect the serumconcentrations of IL-6, Hepcidin. Using linear correlation analysis to analyse the relationshipsbetween Hepcidin and IL--6, hsCRP, SF, SI, Hb, BUN,CREA and PTH. Using single-factorcompletely random variance analysis to analyse the difference of Hepcidin, IL-6, hsCRP andSF in three groups. Using independent sample t test analysis to analyse the difference ofHepcidin,IL-6, hsCRP and SI between anemia group and the group without anemia.ResultHepcidin and IL-6, SF, BUN,CREA, PTH, age were positively correlated (r=0,531,0.419,0.450,0.424,0.127,0.103), and Hb, SI, hsCRP, ALB showed a negative correlation (r=0.009,0.256,0.024,0.069).The P values of Hepcidin and IL-6, SF, BUN,CREA were less than0.05,and the correlation between Hepcidin and IL-6was most closely. Hepcidin levels in MHDgroup, non dialysis CKD group and normal group respectively was169.69±167.26ug/L,78.50±49.32ug/L and49.32±33.13ug/L,the difference of hepcidin levels between MHD group andnon dialysis CKD group, MHD group and normal group was statistically significant,P valueswere0.033,0.033; the difference of hepcidin levels between non dialysis CKD group and normalgroup is not statistically significant, P=0.649. the difference of Hepcidin levels in anemia group and the group without anemia was not statistically significant,P=0.342.Conclusion①IL-6can raise the expression of Hepcidin;②SF overload will increase the expression of Hepcidin;③Hepcidin can involves the formation of anemia in chronic kidney disease through multiplepathways;...
