Objectives: To investigate the effect of tiotropium bromide combined with Seretideinhalation on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with stablecurative effect after the treatment. Methods: stable moderate to severe COPD patients70cases, randomly divided into2groups.The observation group35cases, male28cases, female7cases, given inhalationof tiotropium bromide (18μ g, inhalation,1/d) combined with Seretide (50μ g/500μ g,inhalation,2times/d) treatment; the control group of35cases, male29cases, female6cases, single Shulidie (50μ g/500μ g, inhalation,2times/d) treatment.After8weeks oftreatment, observation of combined inhalation and single inhaler two group, and beforeand after the treatment, exercise tolerance of patients, blood gas analysis, pulmonaryfunction changes of each index. Results: after8weeks treatment, the observation group than before treatment, pulmonary function FEV1%mean by49.42%to63.32%, FEV1/FVC means from51.13%to61.17%;6min walking distance (6MWT) mean increased102.60m, increasedsignificantly (P <0.05), the difference was statistically significant. The control group thanbefore treatment, mean values of FEV1%from48.52%to57.66%, average FEV1/FVCby51.82%to57.57%;6min walking distance (6MWT) increased the average82.97m,were significantly improved (P <0.05).The observation group, the control group aftertreatment,6min walking distance was increased (P>0.05), but no statistical significance;the two groups after treatment, the observation group after treatment were better than thecontrol group FEV1%, FEV1/FVC (P <0.05), the difference was statistically significant. The observation group after8weeks of treatment, the average increase of5.46PaO2compared with those before treatment (P <0.05), PaCO2decreased5.17(P <0.05), thedifferences were statistically significant; the control after8weeks treatment, PaO2wasincreased, increased by4.03(P <0.05), PaCO2was decreased compared with that beforetreatment, decreased2.97(P <0.05), the difference was statistically significant. The twogroups after treatment PaO2, PaCO2slightly difference (P>0.05), no significantdifference. Conclusion: in the treatment of COPD, tiotropium bromide, Seretide inhalation intreatment, improve the quality of daily life of patients, improved hypoxia, hypoxia, andimprove the lung function indexes. As can be seen, the drug combination, show asynergistic complementary effect, and less adverse reaction.
