Objective:The pathogenesis of COPD is a slow and complicated process, chronic bronchial inflammatory injury is an important cause of COPD.This disease is more common in elderly patients, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the lung and kidney deficiency in the majority,Chinese medicine intervention of this disease has a good effect.Giving full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine is helpful to the treatment and prevention of this disease. Many famous TCM practitioners in modern times agree that asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other lung diseases are closely related to deficiency of lung, spleen and kidney organs.Especially in the remission period or the middle and late stage of the disease, attention should be paid to the treatment of tonifying qi,invigorating spleen and tonifying lung and kidney, and tonifying kidney and tonifying qi is the top priority.Through the preliminary study,it is found that the clinical fomula of Bushen Yiqi has a significant effect on the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the stable stage of qi deficiency, kidney qi deficiency and kidney Yang deficiency. On the basis of the previous study, this study aims to explore the clinical efficacy of the Bushen Yiqi formula combined with tiotropium bromide in the treatment of COPD.Methods:A randomized controlled study was used to observe and analyze the efficacy of intervention in COPD between the treatment group(tiotropium bromide combined with Bushen Yiqi formula)and the control group(tiotropium bromide combined with Bushen Yiqi formula simulation agent). After 3 months of oral drugs, the Bushen Yiqi formula and simulants were stopped, and tiotropium bromide was continued and followed up for 3 months.1.The main efficacy indexes of the two groups were observed: VC,FEV1/FVC and FEV1 accounted for the predicted values(%)in the pulmonary function of COPD patients at enrollment and 3 months after the trial began.2.The secondary efficacy indexes of the two groups were observed: IL-1β and IL-17 were compared between the two groups.3.The number of adverse reactions and the number of acute exacerbations in the two groups after treatment.Results:1.After 3 months, the lung function of VC,FEV1/ FVC,and FEV1/ predicted percentage in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved(P<0.05).2.After 3 months, the serum IL1β and IL17 in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved(P<0.05).3.After three months, compared with the control group, the treatment group had advantages in lung function indicators, and the pulmonary function FEV1/FVC and FEV1 accounted for the predicted value(%),which were significantly increased in the treatment group after comparison, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Although VC was not statistically significant,it had an increasing trend.Serum levels of IL-1β and IL-17,markers of inflammation, were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05)was statistically significant.2.After three months, the lung function of serum IL-1 β IL-17 in both groups was significantly improved.4.The number of acute exacerbations and number of adverse reactions were not statistically significant compared with the control group.Conclusions:1.The In COPD patients, the pulmonary function of the group treated with Bushen Yiqi formula combined with Tiotropium bromide was significantly improved compared with the group treated with Tiotropium bromide alone.2.Tiotropium bromide combined with Bushen Yiqi formula significantly reduced serum IL-1β IL-17,an indicator of inflammation.3.Tiotropium bromide combined with Bushen Yiqi formula and Tiotropium bromide alone had fewer adverse reactions, fewer times of acute aggravation and strong tolerance.
