Objective:To quantify the changes of cerebral white matter in diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI), Compared the cerebral white matter microstructure change between Mild Cognitive impairment patients and Alzheimer’s disease patients and healthy control subjects,explore relationship of cerebral white matter abnormalities and cognitive impairment.Methods:Collect16AD patients、15MCI patients and15healthy control subjects. DKI examination was performed and measure the MK values、FA values and MD values of posterior cingulate、anterior cingulate、corpus callosum genu, corpus callosum splenium, frontal, parietal, temporal on the average kurtosis figure, fraction anisotropy figure and mean diffusion figure. To evaluate the significance of MK values、FA values and MD values difference between mild cognitive impairment patients and Alzheimer’s Disease patients and control subjects with one-factor ANOVA and compare the difference between every two groups with LSD method.Results:(1) The comparison between MCI group and NC group:The MK values of posterior cingulate, parietal, temporal and FA value of temporal had statistically difference(P<0.05). there were not statistically difference in between every groups about MD value (P>0.05);(2) The comparison between AD group and NC group:The MK values of posterior cingulate、corpus callosum genu, corpus callosum splenium, frontal, parietal, temporal and FA values of posterior cingulate、corpus callosum splenium, parietal,temporal and MD values of posterior cingulate、corpus callosum splenium, temporal had statistically difference(P<0.05);(3) The comparison between AD group and MCI group:The MK values of posterior cingulate、corpus callosum splenium, frontal, parietal, temporal and FA values of posterior cingulate、corpus callosum splenium, temporal and MD value of posterior cingulate had statistically difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The MK values of posterior cingulate、parietal, temporal is abnormal reduced in mild cognitive impairment patients;The MK values of posterior cingulate、 corpus callosum genu, corpus callosum splenium, frontal, parietal, temporal is abnormal reduced in Alzheimer’s disease patients. Means that the diffusion kurtosis imaging can help to diagnosis early MCI patients and AD patients.(2)Compared with FA value and MD value,MK value is more sensitive,It is more accurate to detection the cerebral white matter microstructure change in normal people of cognitive function、MCI patients and AD patients, in order to provide imaging indicator for exploreing the relationship between brain white matter abnormalities and cognitive impairment.
