The first partResearch of application value of elastosonography in breast neoplasmdiagnosisObjective: TO explore the application value of strain ratio by elastosonography inbreast neoplasm diagnosis. Methods: One hundred and sixteen breast neoplasm in102cases were scannedwith high-frequency ultrasonography and elastosonography. Each lesion was assigned aBI-RADS score,Strain ratio and joint score which was the sum of BI-RADS score andstrain ratio. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of them were drawed andtheir areas under the curve were compared. Results: Of116lesions,68cases were benign,102cases were malignant. The areaunder ROC curves by BI-RADS was0.832±0.037,the sensitivity, specificity, andaccuracy were70.8%,77.9%and75.0%, The area under ROC curves by strain ratio was0.927±0.025,the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were85.4%,89.7%and87.9%,The area under ROC curves by joint score was0.982±0.010,the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were95.8%,92.6%and94.0%.There were statistical differences in thesensitivity, specificity and accuracy of breast neoplasm diagnosis, the strain ratiomethod and joint score method were higher than BI-RADS(P<0.05), the joint scoremethod were higher than strain ratio(P<0.05),but there was no statistical differences inspecificity between joint score method and strain ratio method (P>0.05).Conclusion: Elastic strain ratio method is helpful to improve the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy by ultrasonography technology in breast neoplasmdiagnosis. The combination of high-frequency ultrasonography and Elastic strain ratiomethod can elevate the accuracy of diagnosis for breast neoplasm. The second partResearch of application value of MicroPure Imaging in breast neoplasmdiagnosisObjective: To evaluated the detection ability of microcalcification in breastneoplasm and the value in breast neoplasm diagnosis by MicroPure Imaging. Methods: One-hundred and sixteen breast neoplasm in102cases were scannedwith high-frequency ultrasonography and MicroPure Imaging. Each lesion was assigneda BI-RADS score according on high-frequency ultrasonography and according onhigh-frequency ultrasonography with focusing on observation of the microcalcificationby MicroPure Imaging, Detection ability of microcalcification and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in breast neoplasm diagnosis were compared betweenhigh-frequency ultrasonography and MicroPure Imaging.Results:22lesions with microcalcification were check out in the116breastneplasms by the high-frequency ultrasonography, and37by MicroPure Imaging. Therewas statistical difference on detection rate of microcalcification in lesions between thehigh-frequency ultrasonography and MicroPure Imaging (P<0.05).17lesions withmalignant microcalcification were check out by the high-frequency ultrasonography,and29by MicroPure Imaging. There was statistical difference on detection rate ofmalignant microcalcification in lesions between the high-frequency ultrasonographyand MicroPure Imaging (P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were70.8%,77.9%,and75.0%in breast neoplasm diagnosis by the high-frequencyultrasonography, the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were77.1%,79.4%,and78.4%by MicroPure Imaging, but there was no statistical difference between them (P>0.05).Conclusion: The MicroPure Imaging is better than the high-frequencyultrasonography on display the microcalcification in breast neoplasm, and is helpful indiagnosis of breast neoplasm with microcalcification...
