Rubus crataegifolius Bunge is a member of the Rosaceae family and belongs to Rubus genus. The roots of R. crataegifolius as a folk medicine to treat hepatitis, rheumatoid arthritis in China. Studies have shown that the root has a variety of pharmacological effects, such as anti-tissue oxidation, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, antihypertensive and so on. The topics in our paper mainly focused on chemical composition. By MTT, we observed the protective effect of the compouds isolated from R. crataegifolius on Hep G2cell injure induced by Tacrine. In this resrarch, the dried roots of the plant were extracted with hot methanol to give an extract, which was suspended in water and extracted with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. The active sites of the three was separated by different chromatographic methods, twelve compounds were isolated from R. crataegifolius. Their structures were identified as euscaphic acid (1), ursolic acid (2), pomolic acid (3),1β-hydroxyeuscaphic acid(4), Tormentic acid (5), corosolic acid (6), Myrianthic acid(7), Daucosterol(8),23-Hydroxytormentic acid(9),2,3-O-isopropylidenyl euscaphic acid (10), piceid (11), Niga-ichigoside F1(12).Vitro activity screening experiments were divided into normal group (no drugs), the tacrine-induced team, and compound-treated team with concentration10μM,20μM,40μM,80μM, respectively. Cell activity was measured by MTT. The result of experiment is that the cell viability of2,3-O-isopropylidenyl euscaphic acid EC50was88.36±3.25μM, and piceid EC50was92.54±1.25...
