Objective:To study the effect of Retinoic acidgel sheeting on rabbit ears hypertrophic scars tissue inearly,and discuss the feasibility of early prevention andtreatment,explore new effective method for clinicalprevention and treatment of hypertrophic scara.Methods:The24rabbits were randomly divided into four groups,groupA-control group, group B-silicon gel sheeting treatment group,group C-0.05%retinoic acid gel sheeting treatment group,group D-0.1%retinoic acid gel sheeting treatment group.Rabbit ears were used to establish animal models forhypertrophic scars.28days after successful modeling,give Agroup non-treatment,give B group、C group﹑D group thesilicon gel sheeting and﹑0.05%retinoic acid gel sheeting﹑0.1%retinoic acid gel sheeting respectively,2times aday,lasting medication42days.6weeks after the drugintervention,the rabbits were be killed.We taken4sets ofrabiit ear scar tissues under the same conditions.Fixed thetissues in10%formalin for48-72hours,embedded them inparaffin,sliced,Hematoxylin-Yihong,collagenstains(VanGiescn Stains).Observe the changes of rabbit ear scar about color,thickniss,texture,softness,HI, NA,AA,reflect the validity of the0.05%retinoic acid gelsheeting according to the above data.Results: In group A scarcolor is deep﹑thick﹑hard, and significantly higher thanthe skin, uneven surface. Group B, group C, group D scar colorlight, soft texture, the thickness of subcutaneous nodules,which the group C with the surrounding normal skin close.Dgroups scar surface peeling. HE and VG staining in group Acollagen disordered arrangement of vortex-like structure.Group C and Group D unit area fibroblasts, microvessels,collagen deposition amount less than group A and group B, andcollagen parallel to the long axis aligned with scar. The scarhyperplasia index (HI), fibroblast cell density (NA) valuesthe collagen fibers surface density (AA) value, group A,B, C group HI, NA, AA value the existence of significantforward difference (P <0.05), B HI group and group C, NA, AAvalue there is also a significant difference (P <0.05), groupC and group D HI, NA, AA value (P>0.05), there is nosignificant difference.Conclusion: Topical VA acid gelsheeting in the treatment of early rabiit ears hypertrophicscars can inhibit scar proliferation.The method may be a new method of prevention and treatment of hypertrophic scar.
