The Study Of Effect Of The PVP Treatment And Conservative Treatment About Spinal Osteoporosis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and complications of PVP.Methods105patients diagnosed in our department treatment of osteoporotic vertebral fractures in2010.3-2012.3. Conventional conservative treatment group (conventional group) was consisted of48patients, and the PVP treatment group (PVP group) was consisted of57patients. The patients of conventional group were treated by conventional conservative treatment and the PVP group was treated by PVP therapy which through the PVP bone puncture injection system injects the bone cement (PMMA) into the sick vertebral by X-ray auxiliary. Analysis the recovery rate and the correction rate to evaluate the surgical treatment, hospitalization time, complications, pain visual analogue scale, limited activity score, subjective evaluation of the patients on therapy.Results PVP group vertebral anterior wall, the wall, the rear wall of the recovery rate and the correction rate was significantly higher than the conventional group, the conventional group hospitalization average number of days (15.85±2.44) days, the PVP group of patients were hospitalized an average number of days (7.02±2.00) days, conventional group, the number of complications occurred14times, the PVP group of7times, the conventional group and after the PVP group7d,30d MDS scores were significantly lower than the preoperative the PVP group after7d and30d MDS score are the MDS rated lower than the same period in the conventional group, the routine postoperative30d VAS score was significantly lower than before surgery, after the PVP group,7d,30d VAS scores were lower than the preoperative the PVP group after7d and 30d VAS score low VAS scores in the same period in the conventional group, the patients with the conventional group therapy is not satisfied for the14cases the PVP group of10cases, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).Conclusions PVP is an effective treatment of OVCF, with fewer complications, the fewer pain the patients suffered, and the patient can restore in a relatively short period.PVP is a safe, effective treatment of the OVCF.
