Objective:To investigate the the number of plasmaetoid dendritic cell in theperipheral blood and synovial fluid of patients with new-onset and active rheumatoidarthritis (RA), to further clarify the role in the pathogenesis of RA. Methods: Collectedthe anticoagulant peripheral blood and Synovial fluid of RA patient (n=30), Osteoarthritisgroup (n=25) and health control group (n=25), and detected the percentage ofCD123~+CD11c~-pDC cell by flow cytometry. Results: The number ofCD123~+CD11c~-pDC cell in RA PB(1.69%±0.97%) were lower than that in OAgroup(5.38%±2.31%)(P<0.05) and health group(5.63%±2.33%)(P>0.05), the latter twoshowed no difference. Those cells showed no difference in OA SF and RA SFStatistically.pDC and DAS28score or disease activity index RF、ESR、CRP were nocorrelatio Conclusions: The decrease of CD123~+CD11c~-pDC in RA PB, the existence ofthat in RA SF promted the development of the disease. That played a positive role ofelucidating the pathogenesis of RA and exploring new targeted treatment.
