Clinical Observation Of Bronchial Asthma Remission Stage Treated With "Canopy Paste" Acupoint Application Summer Treatment For Winter Diseases

Objective: By applying acupoint using the medicine for external use of thetherapy winter disease treat in summer,wihch named “Canopy Paste”,we observethe clinical effect of the treatment of bronchial asthma remission and validate theclinical efficacy of the drug for the treatment of bronchial asthma.Methods:100bronchial asthma patients were divided into the treatment groupand the control group of50cases by the random number table.The treatment groupused Canopy Paste,while the control group used traditional medicine.The twogroups had the treatment in the40days in summer Dog days.2years as a cycle.Before treatment and after the whole treatment，we recorded the patients’ symptomsand scored according to the Asthma mitigation of symptoms of grading scale. Andmade a telephone follow-up in3months after the treatment to evaluate the efficacy.Results:1The daily life of the functional integral and the total score after thetreatment are more significant improvement than pre-treatment(P<0.01),that has thestatistical sense.2The comparison of clinical effects between the two groups are,thetreatment group has the clinical control17cases(36%),remarkable effect13cases(26%), effect14cases(24%), ineffective6cases(12%), the total effectiverate88%; while the control group has the clinical control13cases(26%),remarkableeffect11cases(22%), effect12cases(24%), ineffective14cases(28%), the totaleffective rate72%. The comparison of TCM syndromes between the two groups are,the treatment group has the clinical control14cases(28%),remarkable effect17cases(34%), effect12cases(24%), ineffective7cases(14%), the total effectiverate86%; while the control group has the clinical control10cases(20%),remarkable effect12cases(24%), effect11cases(22%), ineffective17cases(34%), the totaleffective rate66%.3The comparison of Asthma Disease clinical symptom score are, the twogroups before and after treatment showed some improvements, Asthma symptomscore and the total score are significantly improved(P<0.01), that has the statisticalsense.4The total effective rate on breather of the two groups are significantlydifferent(P<0.05).Treatment group is better than the control group.The totaleffective rate on shortness of breath, fatigue and wheeze of the two groups aresignificantly different(P<0.01). Treatment group is better than the controlgroup.The treatment group improves the symptom of cough and expectorationeffectively,and the symptom of breather, shortness of breath, fatigue, wheezesignificantly effective.5The treatment group internal comparison of TCM syndrome differentiationproves，the relationship between TCM syndrome differentiation and efficacy has thestatistical sense.Conclusion:1Winter-disease-treat-in-summer “Canopy Paste”acupoint application ofthe Bronchial asthma treatment has better clinical efficacy, and can reduce theclinical symptoms，retard and mitigate its paroxysm.2Winter-disease-treat-in-summer “Canopy Paste”acupoint application ofthe Bronchial asthma remission period treatment has the exact clinical efficacy,andis better than the control group at improving asthma clinical symptoms.3“Canopy Paste”can improve activities of daily living ability obviously.
