Wearing superior properties transfemoral prosthesis is the only way to complete dailyphysical activity for amputees. Motion pattern recognition is important for the control ofprosthesis, especially recognize swing stance phase and road condition. Some motion signalsensors are used on present transfemoral prosthesis. Replacing traditional sensors withelectromyographic is a new way to control prosthesis. This paper will research in this field, andrecognize swing stance phase and road condition with electromyographic. The jobs list:1Related sEMG is sampled by a sEMG-detection produced by a company from Canada indifferent road condition2The sampled sEMG is analysed in an off-line way. There are two moving windows. Thefirst one is weighted filtering window used to filter signal. The second one is height permittedwindow used to recognise the starting time of muscle contraction.3Recognizing swing and stance phase with double window, and judging whether the doublemoving windows theory is effective.4Designing experiment of recognising road condition with related muscles. The sEMG isanalysed by the double windows theory. The result of analysis is showed in a MFC programdynamicallysEMG signals can express the intent of human activities more directly. But it also hasweakness to block its applying on prosthesis, such as, low amplitude and complex noise. In thispaper, the double moving windows theory is came up with to finish the job. But this theory alsoneeds checking and improvement on real prosthesis.
