Effects Of Acupoint Catgut-embedding Therapy On Hyperandrogenism Of Obesity-type Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective: To Observe the clinical effect of Obesity-type Polycystic Ovary Syndromeand Hyperandrogenism,and toProvides clinical treatment methods an foundations forPolycystic Ovary Syndrome.Methods: Screening60cases of patients with Hyperandrogenism of Obesity-typePCOS, then randomly divided into two groups：the acupoint Catgut-embedding group andthe acupuncture group, each group had30patients. After3months remedy,to observepatients’ menstruation,hairy score,acne score,BMI and T, then for statistics analysis.Result：1.The two groups can improve the patient’clinical symptoms and laboratoryindicators.Significantly reduced (P<0.05) in both groups.There was no significantdifference between two groups (P>0.05).The level of T in the two groups were fell.2.The menstrual abnormalitis, hisutism and acne score,there was no significantdifference between two groups (P>0.05). There was significant difference in T levelreduction between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusions:Acupoint catgut-embedding therapycan improve the patient’clinicalsymptoms and laboratory indicators. In clinical practice, acupoint catgut-embeddingtherapy is convenient operation, and has a low cost. So it worth widely clinical using.
