Objective:We treat the patients of spastic hemiplegia with Bu Gan Xi Xin San, so asto find an effective treatment of post-stroke patients with limb spasticity, and improve themedical treatment of post-stroke patients with limb spasticity with Chinese medicine.Methods:60stroke patients with spastic hemiplegia were randomly divided into thecriterion group (n=30) and the routine group (n=30). Under the guidance of the criterionand routine treatment, patients of the criterion group were treated with Bu Gan Xi Xin Sanand patients of the group B were treated with Zhong Feng Hui Chun Wan. After2weeks、4weeks and8weeks, evaluate the result through international index such as ModifiedAshworth Scale, Neural function defect scale, Barthel index. Results:Because7patientswere with poor drug compliance, the enrolled cases were the criterion group (n=26) andthe routine group (n=27). After treatment, the treatment group was superior to the controlgroup in the improvement of the therapeutic efficiency of stroke, muscular tension, andBarthel index. Conclusion:The Bu Gan Xi Xin San is effective and safe and make thehigh muscular tension lower, which will accelerate the disabled limbs’ recovery andimprove patients’ motor function and self-care ability of daily life.
