OBJECTIVE: With the guidance of theories of Traditional Chinese Medicineand combining with modern scientific and technological methods, we learned some valuable materials from Grifola frondosa and pharmacognostical studies, qualitative and quantitative analysis, fingerprinting construction and other quality correlation studies. To explore the essential factors of Grifola frondosa in developing of vital techniques, to establish scientific, safe, highly controllable system, in order to gain the big foundation of Grifola frondosa with some benefits in traditional Chinese medicines, resource exploitation and strength communicate with Chinese medicine and othercountries.METHODS: Using many modern analysis technologies such as microscopic id-entification, TLC, UV, PAGE and HPLC, to concentrate on systematic investigations of Grifola frondosa. Gain many researches in resources investigating, sample survey, morphological identification and microscopic identification by biological technology means. Meanwhile studying with the advantage of establishing the thin layer chromatography of amino acids and holographic in Grifola frondosa. Using the typicalof anthrone-sulfuric acid method, Coomassie brilliant blue staining HPLC, to collectthe data from which the content of polysaccharide, protein and ergosterin in Grifola frondosa. Comprehensive analysis the fingerprint of multi-data on Grifola frondos a by using UV, PAGE and HPLC.RESULTS:1. Though the identify of pharmacognostics, to exam the several aspects of Grifola frondosa which include origin, producing area, standard, characterand microscopic identification, etc.2. Using the TLC technology to identify the amino acid content of Grifola frondosa. First using the technique of holographic thin layer chromatography, to compensated for the shortage of using TLC analyze in Grifola frondosa.3. There are many obvious difference exist in the content of polysaccharide and protein of Grifola frondosa which plant in various of places, and different specifications, by way analyzing the influence factors, to outline the limit content of the active constituents.4. For the first time to detect the content of ergosterol in Grifola frondosa, to earn more perfect on the control qualify of Grifola frondosa.5. Testing the different aspects of Grifola frondosa in water, total ash, and theaqueous and alcoholic extracts in order to give more valuable advices in effectiveexploration of Grifola frondosa.6. Through analyzing the common typical peaks inUltraviolet spectrum quad figure to achieve the purpose of detecting in whole.7. Inthe beginning of drawing the Grifola fron-dosa protein fingerprint, to explore genetic diversity by using molecular method.8. As for innovative established HPLC fingerprint of Grifola frondosa, marked the common typical inergosterol reference peak, to offer more reliable scientific resources in qualify of Grifola frondosa.CONCLUSION: From mul-titarget, multi-level, and multi-angle to establishingthe qualify in evaluation of Grifola frondosa, to offer the scientific methods of protecting the quality of Grifola frondosa, pay highly positive contribute in developingof the good qualify in Chinese medicine.
