| Objective: Cavities preparation were made on the dental caries with two differenttools Which were Er: YAG laser and conventional hi-speed turbine handpiece forcaries hole treatment. Provides a valuable reference for generalization and use atclinical.Method: Using randomized controlled design methods,120outpatients who conformto the experimental standard caries were divided into2groups randomly: Group A(Traditional hi-speed turbine handpiece case hole) and Group B (Er: YAG laser forhole group).According to standard operating procedures respectively: cariesfilling;quantify the time of caries hole in each group;Heart rate and blood pressurechanges;comfort level of patients during the treatment and the curative effect of1day,7days,6months,12months after treatment.To analysis the data using SPSS15.0.Results:1.The time of Group A caries hole is4.7±2.92min,the time of group B forthe hole time is14.7±3.13min. The time of Group A was lower than group B, P﹤0.05, with statistical significance;2.Comparing the preoperative patients’ bloodpressure and heart rate in Group A and group B with postoperation, the data haveincreased significantly.But the amplification of Group A was larger(P﹤0.05),therewas statistical significance between the value differences of two groups of bloodpressure, heart rate changes statistical significance;3.In the two groups of patientswith dental caries hole, statistic analysis the four grades (anesthesiaã€irritabilityã€painã€odontoschism), there was significant difference between group A and B(P﹤0.05);4.The two groups on the first day, dental allergies, P﹤0.05was statisticallysignificant, which suggested the pulp recovery for Er: YAG laser is better thantraditional hi-speed turbine handpiece, also indicated that the Er: YAG laser for hole,smaller to pulp stimulation.5. Compared the results of Group A and group B for6months and12months, there was no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Compared the traditional hi-speed turbine handpiece to caries for hole, Er: YAGlaser dental therapeutic apparatus has better comfort level, embodying at the operation process of no vibration, noise and heat production, smaller teeth sensitiveand pain of the patient’s, less anesthesia demand.The Er: YAG laser dentaltherapeutic apparatus is safe and effective in the tooth cavity treatment.2. Compared the traditional hi-speed turbine handpiece to caries for hole, theefficiency of Er: YAG laser dental therapeutic apparatus cutting tooth hard tissue isrelatively lower, slower speed, which remains to be improved.3.
