Objective:To excavate the channel tropism law of depression somatic symptoms; explore a syndrome differentiation methord fits the characteristic of acupuncture.Methord:A total of191subjects accorded with inclusive criteria were assessed by the self-compiled somatic symptoms questionnaire of depression, and then type-in the informations to set up data base. Excavate syndromes of twelve meridians target to Huangdi’s Orthodox Classic. Finally, somatic symptoms collected from clinic questionnaire were operated by STATISTICA7to find the accosiation rules among the total and each meridian.Results:Somatic symptoms of depression displayed symptom-groups with strong correlation in severn meradians. They are:the Lung Meridian of Hand-Taiyin,the Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin, the Heart Meridian of Hand-Shaoyin. the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, the Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin, the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming, the Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang. Each meridian had it’s own core symptom-group.Conclutions:There are some certain extent channel tropism laws exist in depression somatic symptoms.And the main basis of meridians syndrome differentiation should be the core symptom-group corresponding, moreover, different accompanied symptoms and different running route of each meridian should be taken into consideration.
