Objective: This article aims at summarizing the achievements ofepidemiology, clinical manifestations,diagnosis,treatment and some otheraspects of gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm nowadays.which might be conductive to the diagnosis and treatment for the doctors inthis fields.Background: Nowadays, the increasing morbidity and malignantbiological behavior were found in the research of gastro-entero-pancreaticneuroendocrine neoplasm.However the lack of typical clinicalmanifestations of GEP-NEN and clinicians’ experience leads to themetastasis of GEP-NEN when diagnosis.Methods: Review literatures and analysis retrospectively theachievements of epidemiology, clinical manifestations,diagnosis andtreatment of gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm.Results: The incidence rate of gastro-entero-pancreaticneuroendocrine neoplasm associated with regional, race and gender,etc;Non-functional GEP-NEN lacks of typical clinical manifestations, while functional GEP-NEN’s clinical manifestations associated withcorresponding abnormal hormone levels;The diagnosis of GEP-NENimproves further because of the development of science andtechnology;Surgery is the main treatment measure and drug treatment hasgreat progress.Conclusion: Diagnosis and treatment of GEP-NEN still need tocontinuously explore.
