Objective: To explore the relationship between coronary artery stenosis and leftventricular function with320-row dynamic volume CTA and echocardiography. Methods:Selected122patients suspected or confirmed Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease fromMarch2012to September2012in Shandong Traditional Medicine Hospital. Each patientwas scanned with320-row dynamic volume CT using prospective ECG gating techniquesand Sure Start contrast medium automatically tracking technology and tested leftventricular function with U.S. GE Vivid7PRO color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic in twodays, and then divided into different groups according to the degree of coronary arterystenosis and brunches of lesion. Left ventricular function was compared each other amongthe different groups. Results: A total of330segments of coronary stenosis in90caseswere found in these122patients, including213segments of mild stenosis in39cases,69segments of moderate stenosis in25cases and48segments of severe stenosis in26cases.In patients with coronary stenosis≥50%, there were23segments in18cases involved theRCA and its branches,67segments in42cases involved the LAD and its branches,23segments in17cases involved the LCX and its branches,4cases involved the LM and27patients’ lesions Involved single main branch and24cases multivessel(2branches lesionsin18cases and3in6cases). Sex and age were no significant difference among the groups.No obvious changes of left ventricular function were found between the mild group and thenormal group (P>0.05). Compared to the normal and the mild group, significantdifference of LVDD and LVDS was found in the moderate group (P<0.01or P<0.05).LVDD, LVDS, FS, EDV, ESV and EF were significantly different between the severegroup and other groups (P<0.01). LVDD, LVDS, FS, EDV, ESV and EF were no Statistical difference between the0branch group and the normal group (P>0.05).significant difference of LVDD, LVDS, FS, EDV, ESV and EF were found between theone branch group (P<0.05), and so the LVDS, ESV and EF between the one branch groupand the0branch group (P<0.05). LVDD, LVDS, FS, EDV, ESV and EF weresignificantly different between the multi-branch group and other groups (P<0.01or P<0.05). Conclusion: Left ventricular function is related to the severity of coronary lesionsclosely.320-row dynamic volume CT coronary angiography has significant guiding valuefor prediction, early diagnosis and treatment of CAHD.
