Expressions Of Connexin43, E-cadherinin Invasive Ductal Carcinoma And Study Their Significance And Correlation | Posted on:2014-02-24 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y J Gao | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2254330425958314 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective:To investigate the expression of Connexion43(Cx43),E-cadherin(E-cad) and its significance in invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC).Method:The expressions of Cx43and E-cad proteins were detected in17casesnormal breast tissues,42cases benign breast diseases(18fibroadenoma,24fiberadenosis)and89cases breast invasive ductal carcinoma by immunohistochemistryElivision method.Among48cases of breast invasive ductal carcinoma which weredivided into tumor-area,junction area and farther-tumor area.We observe theexpression of Cx43and E-cad protein by immunohistochemistry Elivisionmethod.Chi-square test McNemar test and Kappa test were used for statisticalanalysis.Results:The expressions of Cx43and E-cad were remarkably decreased in IDCtissues.Both the Cx43and the E-cad expressions were significantly related with TNMstage,histologic grading and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.050).From tumor-area tojunction area and to farther-tumor area,the tendency of Cx43and E-cad expressionrate were increase.There were significant difference in statistical(P=0.000).Intumor-area and junction area,the expression rate of Cx43and E-cad show remarkabledifferences related with lymphatic metastasis.There was better agreement theexpression of x43and E-cad in three areas of cancer tissues(r=0.421~0.447,Kappa=0.460~0.494,P=0.001).Both negative expression in the tumor-area and junctionarea, the highest rate of lymph node metastasis.Conclusion:The decreased expressions of Cx43and E-cad in IDC might becommon affairs in carcinogenesis and development of IDC.It is conducive to judgethe degree of tumor differentiation and the ability of invasion by detecting Cx43andE-cad together. | Keywords/Search Tags: | breast neoplasms, Connexin43, E-cadherin, immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
