| Objective To observe the effect of the late-model acetabular retractors in theapplication of small incision THA by posterolateral approach and to explore itsessential technical points. Methods Use the late-model acetabular retractors to implement THA throughposterolateral approach by the same group of surgeons from june.2011tojanuary.2013. Evaluation indexes including the length of incision, the number ofsurgeon, the time of operation, the blood loss in operation, the postoperativedrainage, the surgical trauma, the postoperative rehabilitation, the postoperativecomplications and the operation results. Results All51patients are followed, the follow-up time is3-12months,at anaverage of6.8months.The postoperative Harris hip scores of12th weeksã€postoperative VAS pain scores of seventy-second hoursã€postoperative drainageã€abduction angle and anteversion angle of the cup are no significant differencebetween the two groups. The late-model acetabular retractors group:the incisionlength is9~13cm,at an average of10.9±1.34cm; the number of surgeon is2~4,at an average of3.0±0.40; the time of operation is50~90min, at an average of68.8±9.50min; the postoperative Harris hip scores of4th weeks is75~95分,at anaverage of88.7±4.3; the postoperative VAS pain scores of twenty-fourth hours is1~6,at an average of3.76±1.45. The common group: the incision length is10.5~15cm,at an average of12.6±1.24cm; the number of surgeon is3~4, at an averageof3.88±0.33; the operation time is65~90min, at an average of75.4±7.61min; thepostoperative Harris hip scores of4th weeks is73~94分, at an average of86.3±4.7; the postoperative VAS pain scores of twenty-fourth hours is2~7,at an averageof4.42±1.30..Conclution After applying the new acetabular retractor in total hiparthroplasty through posterolateral approach: we can find that the exposure is morefully, the operative procedure is easier. We can also find that the operation time is shorter, the incision is smaller. The number of surgeons, the blood loss in operationand the postoperative complications are decreased. It is better for the postoperativerehabilitation and the results of the operation. |
