Objective:To Review and analysis efficacy of one stage anterior-posterior approachsurgery in the treatment of multi-segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy.Methods:following up and Analyzing the clinical features of20multisegmental cervicalspondylotic myelopathy patients who have complete information and were treatedwith the one stage anterior-posterior approach surgery in the Department ofOrthopaedics174Hospital of PLA(Chenggong Hospital Affiliated to XiamenUniversity)Traditional Chinese Medicine during2005.9~2013.2. According to caseselection criteria to collect follow-up records of20cases. Including14males and6females. Aged43to80years, mean age62.5years old. Duration of2to60months,the duration of less than6months in5cases,6-12months in6cases,12-24monthsin7cases, more than24months in2patients were followed up for6to36months,with an average of17.2months. C4~66cases,10cases of C4~7, C5~7in5cases,C3~53cases,C3~64cases.Scoring the spinal cord function before and after operationaccording to JOA criteria,at the same time comparing with the before and afteroperation imaging data, measuring reoperative and postoperative cervical curvature,and Cervical spine fusion height.then evaluating the efficacy of surgical treatmentfrom the clinical and imaging study.Results:Comparing with the pre-operation,JOA score of patients after surgery improvedsignificantly,(P<0.05); all cases of postoperative spinal cord function orneurological symptoms were improved and the preoperative and postoperativecervical curvature and Cervical spine fusion height showed significant differences.Conclusion:The effect of one stage anterior-posterior approach surgery in the treatment ofmulti-segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy is exact, and the long-term follow- up outcome is satisfied.
