| Objective:To explore the plaster external and the screw internal fixation of the treatment of the injury of tibiofubular syndesmosis, evaluating the clinical effect of the two kinds of treatments.Methods:To review32cases of the fracture of ankle and the damage of the joint of tibiofibular with treatment of different fixed way in Naning Chinese medicine hospital from May2010to September2012. All the patients fit the setting standard in this study are treated by open reduction and internal fixation. There are17cases of the plaster external and15cases of the screw internal fixation.6to38months after operation were used for a return visit.The two groups by gender, age, hospitalization days, operative, fracture healing time comparison, etc. The curative comparison by Baird-Jackson ankle score system. The data using SPSS statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:The time of gypsum plaster group use plaster fixation is8to12weeks, the Baird-Jackson score:7cases excellent,4cases good,6cases well,0cases bad, the fine rate was64.71%.The time of screw fixation group to take out the screws is8to12weeks, he Baird-Jackson score:9cases excellent,3cases good,3cases well,0cases bad, the fine rate was64.71%.Baird-Jackson score, gender, age, hospitalization days, operative, fracture healing time comparison were no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Using the screw fixation in the treatment of tibiofibular damage in fine rating was higher than the plaster fixation group, but there was no statistically significant. The two groups in Baird-Jackson score, gender, age, hospitalization days, operative, fracture healing time comparison were no statistically significant. In the clinical work, it is of great importance to considering on the patient and the fixation of the ankle fracture to select the appropriate plan. |
